Chief Executive Officer
Scott Matthews oversees CrowdTwist’s growth strategies and is responsible for sustaining the company’s high level of client service. Before joining CrowdTwist, Scott served as CEO of WebCollage for four years. In 2013, he sold the company to Answers and became General Manager of Answers Syndication. Scott has more than 20 years of experience working at high tech companies and small SaaS early- stage companies, which include Siebel Systems, Optum, Interworld, and Secure Computing. Scott lives in Westchester, NY with his wife and four children. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and supports numerous charities, including the Ossining Food Pantry and the SPCA.
Chief Customer Officer
Emily oversees the Client Success and Marketing teams at CrowdTwist. Emily has more than 15 years of retail, analytics, client services and marketing experience. Throughout her career, Emily led transformational initiatives that have enabled brands and retailers to form strong connections with their customer base. She offers a unique customer-centric perspective and has a proven track record for increasing value for customers, managing complex relationships and developing hard ROI for her customers. Prior to joining CrowdTwist, Emily held positions at Macy’s, Coach, Ann Inc., dunnhumby, and The Children’s Place. She holds a bachelor’s degree in consumer studies from Syracuse University. Emily is a proud mother of two. She and her husband are active members of their community.
Chief Technology Officer
Paul is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of CrowdTwist’s Multichannel Loyalty and Analytics Solutions platform and growing the engineering team. He brings more than a decade of software engineering experience to the team. Prior to joining CrowdTwist, Paul held positions at Armanta, Lockheed Martin, and Emtrol. In his spare time, Paul enjoys participating in all types of outdoor activities and trying out new foods and restaurants.
SVP of Finance
Joe was most recently CFO for Zoku, a consumer products company. Prior to Zoku, Joe was CFO of House Party, inc., a venture capital backed word of mouth marketing software platform. In addition, Joe worked at Unilever for 7 years managing finances for brands with revenues in excess of $700 million annually. Joe holds MBA’s in both finance and marketing from CUNY Baruch’s Zicklin school of business.
SVP of Client Success
Rose has nearly 10 years of senior client service leadership experience and is responsible for building and cultivating relationships with all CrowdTwist clients. Rosanna assists in driving loyalty program strategy by managing a team of account managers who lead the on-boarding process, oversee day-to-day program management, and devise best practices. Rosanna was one of the first employees hired at CrowdTwist. Prior to that held, she held positions at Clear Channel and SonyBMG. In her spare time, she enjoys training in boxing, traveling, and listening to disco music.
VP of Human Resources
Lu Montague oversees the Human Resources and Office Administration functions at CrowdTwist. Her niche is helping early stage start-up companies develop much needed culture and defining efficient processes. She has over 20 years experience in HR and Office Administration in both private and government sectors. Prior to joining CrowdTwist, Lu has held positions at Buddy Media, Ladmar Associates and Lime Energy (formerly Maximum Performance Group). Lu lives on Long Island with her husband and has one son that attends college at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD. Her favorite pastimes include anything that revolves around the beach and warm weather.
Head of Data Science
Jennifer oversees analytics and reporting at CrowdTwist. She has more than a decade of experience generating actionable insights from data by applying techniques from machine learning, econometrics, and statistics. Prior to joining CrowdTwist, Jennifer held positions at AIG Science, Analysis Group, Magnetar Capital, and Citadel Investment Group. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Harvard, and a Ph.D. in Economics from The University of Chicago. Jennifer enjoys soccer, comedy, and keeping pace with her two boys as their imaginations run wild.
Head of Marketing
Mairead oversees Marketing at CrowdTwist, and is responsible for delivering marketing programs, events, and thought leadership campaigns that educate marketers and build relationships with prospective customers. She has more than 10 years of experience building and scaling demand generation programs for high-growth technology companies, including Offerpop (now Wyng), Everyday Health (now Ziff Davis), and IBS (now Siemens). Mairead received her Bachelor’s Degree in English and History from Boston College. In her spare time, she enjoys trivia, bocce, and travel.
Head of Business Development
Max manages business development and agency partnerships at CrowdTwist. In his role, Max builds strategic relationships with leading service and technology vendors to enrich CrowdTwist’s offerings and identifies new business opportunities. Prior to joining, Max led Strategic Partnerships and Acquisition Strategy for Shindig. He also founded KegSkins. Max received his bachelor’s degree in political science and entrepreneurship and management from Johns Hopkins University. In his spare time, Max enjoys the great outdoors and woodworking.

Josh brings almost two decades of experience in digital media and technology. Prior to co-founding CrowdTwist, he responsible for guiding digital strategy, operations, and business development for industry leading entertainment companies. Josh enjoys spending his free time exploring all that New York City has to offer and volunteers as a mentor for New York Needs You.

Irving was the co-founder and CEO of CrowdTwist until the end of 2014. When he started CrowdTwist, the company was a pioneer in multichannel loyalty and analytics. He went on to lead the business through numerous growth phases and the raising of $20 million in venture capital. Irving has been featured by CNBC, Forbes, and TechCrunch, and is a regular contributor to The Wall Street Journal, Inc., and other leading business media outlets.
GSK, Global Chief Digital Officer
Marc serves as Global Partner Lead for Google in its global client and agency solutions division. Prior to joining Google, Speichert was Global CMO at L’Oreal where he was responsible for overseeing the company’s marketing, consumer and shopper insights, media and digital investment and innovation, digital IT, marketing services procurement, and business development globally across four divisions. Before joining L’Oreal, Speichert spent 13 years at Colgate Palmolive where he rose from the position of trainee to senior product manager, and then marketing director in Greece, before taking his final role as marketing director.
VISA, SVP Innovation & Strategic Partnerships
Shiv is currently the SVP of Global Brand and Marketing Transformation for Visa. He formerly was the global head of digital for PepsiCo., where he led the embrace of new social-viewing platforms like Pepsi Sound Off and Pepsi Pulse, as well as partnerships with Twitter and others. Prior to PepsiCo., Singh was the global social media lead for Razorfish where he worked for 11 years.
Cambia Health Solutions, Chief Marketing Officer
Carol spent almost a decade leading Interactive Marketing at The Coca-Cola Company, including more than three years serving as the global vice president of Digital. Previously, Kruse served as SVP and CMO at ESPN, where she was responsible for all aspects of the development, management, and global expansion of the ESPN brand, including the marketing of ESPN’s six television networks and an extensive array of digital, mobile, radio, print, and social products.
WPP Ventures, Managing Director
Dave Knox is Chief Marketing Officer for Rockfish, one of the fastest growing digital agencies in the country. Prior to Rockfish, Knox worked for at Procter & Gamble where he was instrumental in the digital turnaround that landed the company on AdAge’s Digital A-List. In addition, to CrowdTwist, he serves on as a board observer/advisor to a number of venture-backed companies.
Lift Strategy and Customer Experience, Co-Founder and President
Jim Thompson is co-founder of Lift and a recognized leader in performance marketing. Throughout his career, Jim has helped implement customer strategies and innovative programs that have profitably generated billions of dollars in sales. Prior to joining Lift, he previously was VP of Performance Marketing for American Eagle Outfitters. Before that, he spent 15 years at Limited Brands, helping brands including Victoria’s Secret, Express, and others adopt omnichannel marketing capabilities.
